Deep red-black in colour with a scarlet rim. Initial notes of liquorice, black plums and cherries underlaid by subtle sweet vanilla. The palate is medium to full bodied; red berry flavours dominate against a backdrop of integrated oak vanillin. The palate finishes with medium length, supported by rich, solid tannins and gentle acidity.
