The Dimchurch Shiraz is the more archetypal Barossa Shiraz from the Hoffmann Vineyard portfolio. We describe this as the more fruit forward of our Hoffmann/Dimchurch project, with 3-4 years of barrel maturation, it is necessary to have the wine decanted for at least 6 hours before its depth becomes evident.
Monumental and opulent, Dimchurch Shiraz showcases the power, richness, and concentration for which Chris Ringland is renowned. Fruit is sourced from the Hoffman vineyard at Ebenezer, and the wine spends 4 years in 100% new French oak before the selection of individual barrels is made.
